> AAP Sports News (Australia) 05-20-1999 OLY: No need to alter conclusions: auditor By John Salvado, Olympics Correspondent SYDNEY, May 20 AAP - The independent auditor who examined Sydney's successful bid for the 2000 Games will not alter his conclusions after examining 400-plus pages of documents, including notes by Phil Coles and his partner about Coles' IOC colleagues. In a letter to Olympics minister Michael Knight, auditor Tom Sheridan said that a number of the handwritten notes appeared to have been made after Sydney won the bid in 1993 and to focus on Salt Lake City's successful bid for the 2002 winter games.
