AAP Sports News (Australia) 09-15-1999 OLY: Freeman s 400m final to say, changes only minor By Ian Jessup SYDNEY, Sept 15 AAP - The women's 400m athletics final at next year's Sydney Olympic Games, in which Australian Cathy Freeman will start one of the favourites, will stay in its original timeslot, Olympics Minister Michael Knight confirmed today. International Olympic Committee president Juan Antonio Samaranch told Knight in Lausanne overnight that powerful athletics boss Primo Nebiolo had signed off on a slightly revised schedule for track and field events of 400m or longer.
