The Australian has maintained his innocence of allegations that he submitted $11,000 in expenses for a family visit to Salt Lake City. He says he made the decision to resign before the meeting at Lausanne in Switzerland so that the commission was in no way subject to any blemish or innuendo in respect of any of its members.
