AAP Sports News (Australia) 04-20-2000 OLY: Independent observers to oversee Sydney drug tests By Adrian Warner LAUSANNE, Switzerland, April 19 Reuters - Independent observers will police the entire drug testing procedure at this year's Sydney Olympics in a move aimed at removing athletes' doubts about the tests which can destroy their careers. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) today said the observers would keep a close eye on all aspects of the testing process.
