AAP Sports News (Australia) 04-28-2000 Box: Lewis Grant showdown tips the scales on boxing history By Jim Slater NEW YORK, April 27 AFP - World champion Lennox Lewis and undefeated challenger Michael Grant produced the heaviest combined weight of any title fight in boxing history at today's weigh-in for their heavyweight boxing title fight at Madison Square Garden on Saturday. Grant tipped the scales at 114kg, 1kg more than Lewis, in a public ceremony outside the doors of Madison Square Garden here, where the two will meet for the undisputed heavyweight crown.
