AAP Sports News (Australia) 07-06-2001 TEN: Venus 1 6 favourite to retain title LONDON, July 5 Reuters - Venus Williams has been installed as a hot 1-6 favourite by bookmakers William Hill to retain her Wimbledon crown after beating Lindsay Davenport in today's semi-finals. The second seed is also quoted at 1-2 to win in straight sets over the Belgian Justine Henin. Williams's 19-year-old opponent is a 7-2 chance to win her first grand slam tournament and 10-1 to upset the American in straight sets. Meanwhile, Andre Agassi is 11-8 favourite to secure his second men's Wimbledon title, followed by Australian Pat Rafter (11-4), Britain's Tim Henman (100-30) and wildcard Goran Ivanisevic (4-1).
