AAP Sports News (Australia) 07-16-2001 Oly: Kim under investigation by ethics commission MOSCOW, July 15 AFP - International Olympic Committee presidential candidate Kim Un-Yong is being investigated by the ethics commission over his offer to pay IOC members $US50,000 ($A99,325) a year in compensation.

The commission is concerned that the offer breaks the election rules laid down for the IOC presidential race. An IOC spokesman told AFP that although the commission had received a reply from Kim about the cash offer the investigation was continuing.
