LUCERNE, Switzerland, July 14 AAP - Australians James Tomkins and Drew Ginn have won the men's pair at the rowing World Cup today.
The renowned Australian pair, formerly part of the Oarsome Foursome, crossed the line over a length clear of the current world champions James Cracknell and Matthew Pinsent of Great Britain with the Skelin brothers of Croatia in third place.
On a good dayt for Australia, the world champion women's four of Jane Robinson, Julia Wilson, Joanna Clare Lutz, Rachel Taylor also won gold.
Tomkins and Ginn began slowly, being placed second-last at the 500 metre mark of the 2000 metre race.
They were able to claw back to third place at the 1000...
