Golf: Fujita takes early lead at Munsingwear Open
TAMANO, Japan, May 19 Kyodo - Hiroyuki Fujita shot a nine-under-par 63 today to lead
Australia's Craig Jones by three shots after the opening round of the Munsingwear Open
KSB Cup.
Fujita kept a deft putting touch throughout his round, making 10 birdies against a
bogey at Tojigaoka Marine Hills Golf Club as he grabbed a first-round lead for the second
straight week.
Jones finished the day in second place after a 66 while another stroke back is tour
veteran Masashi "Jumbo" Ozaki, winless since the 2002 ANA Open, and Jun Kikuchi.
Nine players, including Ozaki's younger brother Tateo, followed in a tie for fifth after 68s.
