Soc: Keane set for Celtic move
GLASGOW, Dec 15 AFP - Former Manchester United skipper Roy Keane was reported to have
arrived at Celtic Park to complete his move to the Glasgow giant later today.
The 34-year-old left Manchester United last month when his contract was terminated
by mutual consent.
A host of English Premiership clubs expressed their interest in the midfielder with
Everton and Bolton hoping the chance to stay in the north-west would convince him to join
them.
But Keane has never hidden his desire to play for Celtic when he left United.
It is believed that a portion of Keane's salary will be paid directly by the Parkhead
club's major shareholder Dermot Desmond.
