Sail: SydHob winner tough to pick

SYDNEY, Dec 24 AAP - Fancied super maxis Alfa Romeo and Wild Oats XI expect to run
almost side by side in the Sydney to Hobart yacht race and punters are also having trouble
separating the two new speed machines.
Three of the major online betting organisations had the two big boats virtually on
the same line of betting, well ahead of the other super maxis Skandia and Konica Minolta,
with last year's line honours winner Nicorette, known as AAPT2.
However, today's weather forecast of freshening northeasterly breezes from Monday night
possibly through to Wednesday afternoon favoured the bigger boats.
