Crik: Kruger ends injury-forced nightmare
BRISBANE, June 8 AAP - Powerful left-handed opener Nick Kruger has regained a place
in Queensland's first-class cricket squad after three seasons in the wilderness.
Kruger, 22, is one of five players elevated to the Bulls full-time contract list but
the only one not to have represented Queensland last season.
The Pura Cup champion also promoted rapidly-improving leg-spinner Daniel Doran, batsman
Ryan Broad and young pacemen Nathan Rimmington and Grant Sullivan.
They replace NSW-bound off-spinner Nathan Hauritz, retired veterans Wade Seccombe and
Joe Dawes, and omitted batsman Aaron Nye.
