Mottram proved he had fully recovered from a calf strain when he demolished the field in a 3,000m race in Boston last weekend, slashing five seconds off the Australian record. Mottram holds a host of Australian records and would like to add the national indoor mile to the list at the 100th anniversary edition of the Millrose Games in New York on Saturday (Australian time).
