Box; Lewis hopes Super bout not a stinker

SYDNEY, May 4 AAP - Top Australian boxing trainer Johnny Lewis has tipped Floyd Mayweather
to trump Oscar de la Hoya in this weekend's big bout in Las Vegas but feels the sport
can't afford the much anticipated contest turning into a "stinker".
A world champion in six divisions, de la Hoya (38-4, 30 KOs), defends his WBC super
welterweight title at MGM Grand on Sunday afternoon Australian time against unbeaten professional
Mayweather (37-0, 24 KOs), who is almost universally regarded as the world's best pound
for pound fighter.
The hugely hyped contest is expected to go close to establishing record gate receipts
and pay for view for sales.
