AAP Sports News (Australia) 08-21-2008 Ath: IAAF eyes banning dope cheats from next eligible world BEIJING, Aug 21 AFP - Track and field's world governing body is looking into banning athletes who test positive for doping from competing in the next world championship. IAAF president Lamine Diack of Senegal said his group should follow the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and keep dope cheats who serve a two-year ban out for the next global championship showdown. "It may well be that we will have to act," Diack said.
