AP Sports News (Australia) 09-19-2008 Cyc: Roland banned for two years without positive test SYDNEY, Sept 19 AAP - Australian cyclist Mark Roland has been slapped with a two-year suspension for using performance-enhancing drugs - despite not returning a positive test. The Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority (ASADA) today announced the punishment for the winner of a criterium of the 2003 Southbank Grand-Prix Cycling Classic in Melbourne in December 2003. Roland was found by ASADA to have used human growth hormone (hGH) on August 27 and December 5 2003 and the anabolic steroid Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) on August 27 and December 5 2003 and November 16 2004.
