AAP Sports News (Australia) 06-18-2009 Base: Congress to probe Sosa testimony WASHINGTON, June 17 AFP - Baseball star Sammy Sosa's sworn testimony that he didn't use illegal performance-enhancing drugs will be examined by a US Congressional committee after a media report that he tested positive in 2003. Congressman Edolphus Towns, the chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, said in a statement on Wednesday that the committee "always takes seriously suggestions that a witness misled the committee while testifying under oath."
