Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Eastern Washington quarterback Josh Blankenship, Eastern Illinois running back J.R. Taylor, Bethune-Cookman free safety Rashean Mathis, and Northern Iowa kicker Mackenzie Hoambrecker have been honored as national I-AA players of the week by The Sports Network, the division's most widely recognized information service.

Blankenship helped EWU snap Montana's 24-game win streak, Taylor ran all over Florida Atlantic, Mathis was amazing on both sides of the ball in B-CC's pivotal win over Howard, and Hoambrecker's booming foot led to a season-ending victory for his team.
