College Football: Iowa's Clark wins Mackey Award.

Manhasset, NY (Sports Network) - University of Iowa junior Dallas Clark was honored with the third annual John Mackey Award on Wednesday. The award, which was presented in Long Island, is given to college football's best tight end.

The 6-4, 244-pound Clark beat out Miami-Florida's Kellen Winslow Jr. and UCLA's Mike Seidman, who were the other semifinalists invited to the ceremony.

In 12 games for the Hawkeyes, Clark caught 39 passes for 645 yards and four touchdowns. His 95-yard reception for a score against Purdue was Iowa's longest play of the season.
