College Football: Louisville's White heading to NFL.

Louisville, KY (Sports Network) - University of Louisville defensive end Dewayne White has announced he will forgo his senior season and has declared himself eligible for the 2003 NFL Draft.

White was the 2001 Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year and was a two- time selection to the all-conference first team. In his three-year career, White has helped lead the Cardinals to a 27-11 record.

"This was by no means an easy decision for me," said White. "I've enjoyed my time here and really owe a lot of my success and development, both on the field and off, to the University of Louisville."

He holds the Louisville and Conference USA career record for sacks with 37.5, which he tallied...
