Dallas, TX (Sports Network) - Tanith Belbin and Benjamin Agosto pulled an upset to capture the original dance portion of the competition at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships.

Belbin and Agosto moved into first place in dance competition, just ahead of four-time U.S. champions Naomi Lang and Peter Tchernyshev, who had captured the compulsory portion of the program on Tuesday.

The free skate is scheduled for Friday and is worth 50 percent of the overall score.
