Baseball: Dodgers reach terms with Perez; sign Alvarez to minor-league deal.

Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Dodgers reached terms on a contract with arbitration-eligible pitcher Odalis Perez on Thursday.

The lefthander posted a 15-10 record with a 3.00 ERA in 32 starts last season, his first with the Dodgers. In four major league seasons with the Atlanta Braves and Dodgers, Perez has earned a 26-25 record with a 4.12 ERA in 84 games, including 65 starts.

The Dodgers also signed lefthander Wilson Alvarez to a minor-league contract and invited him to spring training on Thursday.

The 32-year-old Alvarez was 2-3 with a save and a 5.28 ERA in 23 games, including 10 starts, for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays last season.
