Orlando, FL (Sports Network) - Orlando Magic forward Shawn Kemp believes he will be exonerated after being suspended on Tuesday for violating the terms of the NBA/NBA Players Association Anti-Drug Program, according to a published report.
The Orlando Sentinel reported that the suspension was nothing more than a misunderstanding. Kemp was out of town for the All-Star break and rescheduled his test, which was originally scheduled to take place last Thursday. The rescheduled date was for Wednesday and Kemp maintains the test will come back clean.
Kemp's suspension began with Tuesday's 92-83 victory over the New Jersey Nets, but he believes that he will be cleared to play Thursday night in Detroit....
