Columbus, OH (Sports Network) - The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim try for their first playoff berth since 1999 this evening when they welcome the Columbus Blue Jackets to the Pond.

The Ducks set a franchise-record for points on Saturday when Niclas Havelid scored early in overtime for a 3-2 victory over San Jose to give Anaheim 86 points on the year. Petr Sykora scored twice for the Ducks, who have won two of their last three games and will set a team record for wins with one tonight.

The 1996-97 Mighty Ducks finished with a record of 36-33-13 for 85 standings points.

Paul Kariya assisted on all three goals for Anaheim, which is one point back of Minnesota for sixth place in the Western...
