(Sports Network) - Florida picked the worst possible time to be whistled for its first penalty, with only 54 seconds remaining in the final period Thursday night. St. Louis' Doug Weight scored on the power play with just two seconds left to give the Blues a 2-1 victory.

St. Louis is 7-3-1 over its last 11 games, and has won seven of its last eight at Savvis Center. The Blues are also 14-2-2-4 against teams from the Eastern Conference and 6-1 in the Southeast Division. St. Louis occupies the fourth spot in the Western Conference but is tied with Colorado at 97 points. The two clubs each have five games remaining, including a meeting on April 6th in Denver.
