Ames, IA (Sports Network) - Wayne Morgan was introduced Wednesday as the new men's basketball coach at Iowa State University.

Morgan replaces Larry Eustachy, whose five-year tenure recently ended.

"I am truly, really happy," Morgan said during an afternoon press conference. "I am excited about the future here. I am really looking forward to the challenges that lie ahead for our program."

Morgan has vowed to mend the wounds left by Eustachy, who admitted to being an alcoholic and subsequently resigned after heavy pressure to have him removed from the post.
