Rain prevented several matches from being completed Wednesday at the grass-court Hall of Fame Tennis Championships.
Before the rains came Frenchman Cyril Saulnier and American wild card Bob Bryan secured berths in the quarterfinals, as Saulnier stopped Aussie Scott Draper 6-2, 6-3, while Bryan, a French Open doubles champion along with his twin brother Mike last month, whipped Serbian qualifier Dusan Vemic 6-4, 6-2.
Bryan and Saulnier will do battle in the round of eight at the International Tennis Hall of Fame.
A first-round match was completed, as Aussie wild card Chris Guccione grounded Italian Stefano Pescosolido 7-6 (7-2), 7-6 (7-4).
