NFL Football: Sehorn undergoes surgery for broken foot.

St. Louis Rams safety Jason Sehorn underwent surgery Monday for a broken bone in his left foot. He was injured during practice on Sunday and is expected to be sidelined for 10 weeks.

"It was a very simple surgery as surgeries go," said Rams head coach Mike Martz. "Dr. Matava is the best. He was very pleased with it and is really excited about the prospect to have him back in the 10 weeks we thought. It should happen. There were no complications. He doesn't really foresee any problems, but we'll see."

Sehorn broke the fifth metatarsal in his left foot during the second of two Rams' practice sessions Sunday afternoon at Western Illinois University, the site of Rams' training camp.
