The Los Angeles Dodgers conclude their threegame series in Houston tonight.

The Dodgers lost 6-1 last night and will try to avoid the series sweep this evening. Adrian Beltre drove in the lone run last night for the Dodgers, who have suffered defeat in four straight games after a three-game winning streak.

Wilson Alvarez will pitch this evening for the Dodgers. He started this year at Triple-A Las Vegas, but the 33-year-old lefthander has made a stellar comeback. This will be his 15th appearance and sixth start in a Dodger uniform this year.

Alvarez has alternated between the bullpen and the rotation this year. He's won his last two decisions and hasn't lost since July 8 at San Diego....
