Saint Louis University guard Reggie Bryant will miss the first three games of the 2003-04 regular season, for an NCAA violation that occurred while he was enrolled at Villanova.

Bryant was involved, along with other Villanova students, in the unauthorized use of long-distance telephone access codes during the 2001-02 academic year.

"Reggie realizes that he made an error in judgement and is willingly repaying the debt," said St. Louis head basketball coach Brad Soderberg.

The junior will sit out the Billikens' contest against Eastern Kentucky, as well as games against Savannah State and North Carolina A&T.
