Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer Advises ZFS on Rights Issue

Zurich Financial Services (ZFS) yesterday announced a US$2-2.5bn rights offering to support organic business growth in its core markets. International law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer is advising ZFS on the offering.
The transaction is significant as it is a large offering in the insurance market, and is expected to complete by the end of October 2002.
Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer's team on the transaction included corporate partners David Higgins and Graham Nicholson; employment partner Jocelyn Mitchell; tax partner Jonathan Cooklin; and corporate associates Justin Stock, Tim Wilmot and Robert Reid.
