Bureaucratic snafus are stymieing a quick resolution of the standards-of-conduct case against Enron and electric utility Portland General Electric (PGE), a Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) staff attorney said during a pre-trial conference on Tuesday.
However, Mike Naeve, an attorney representing PGE, said that the company is entering settlement talks with FERC staff and the company is eager to see them succeed, possibly negating the need for a trial.
