THE ECONOMIC TIMES

- After an almost undiputed four-year stint as the country's largest internet service provider, the recently privatised Videsh Sanchar Nigam Limited has been overtaken by Chennai-based Satyam Infoway, which now rules at No 1 with 600,000 plus dialup subscriber base.

- The year 2001-02 ended on a disappointing note for several corporates which have announced their results so far. Margins were under pressure as sales did not pick up, or, in some cases, declined substantially during the quarter ended March.
