VIETNAM'S EXIMBANK GETS KOREAN HELP FOR TECHNOLOGY UPGRADE.

HANOI, April 16 Asia Pulse - The joint stock Export and Import Bank (Eximbank) is set for a massive technological facelift from South Korea's Hyundai Information Technology Co Ltd., which muscled out other international bidders for the project.

It comes as part of the World Bank's long-term strategy to orient the country's entire banking sector with world standards.

Other local banks awaiting their turn are the State Bank of Vietnam, the Foreign Trade Bank, the Industrial and Commercial Bank, the Investment and Development Bank, the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development and the Maritime Bank.
