AT&T CORP'S AUSTRALIAN ARM TARGETS DOUBLE-DIGIT FY GROWTH.

SYDNEY, May 30 Asia Pulse - Global carrier AT&T Corp's Australian operation is targeting double-digit revenue growth this year and next, as it pushes for a slice of the country's big business market.
The US-owned telco today launched a new-look AT&T Australia operation, outlining plans to offer network-related services and products directly to Australian companies.
AT&T has been in Australia in a limited capacity for 10 years, but open for direct business here for under two months.
Newly appointed local managing director Steve Lowe said the company was confident of achieving its growth targets in a compressed first reporting year ending December 31, 2001.
