AUSTRALIAN ISP OZEMAIL UNDAUNTED BY PARENT WORLDCOM DEBACLE.

SYDNEY, June 27 Asia Pulse - Australia's second largest internet service provider OzEmail said today it was working hard to ensure its 600,000 customers received their usual internet services, amid the accounting debacle surrounding the company's US parent.
OzEmail said it would continue its usual operations despite parent Worldcom Inc battling against bankruptcy relating to multi-billion dollar accounting irregularities.
"As long as we can continue operating as we always have, then customers will be assured," an OzEmail spokesman said.
The spokesman would not comment on any potential separation of the Australian company from its parent.
