KTF, LG TELECOM CALL FOR SUSPENSION OF SK TELECOM'S OPERATIONS.

SEOUL, Aug 14 Asia Pulse - KTF and LG Telecom submitted a joint petition to the Information and Communication Ministry Wednesday, calling for the suspension of SK Telecom's operations.
"SK Telecom has continued to ignore conditions the government imposed on the company such as ending the provision of handset subsidies when the government approved its merger with SK Shinsegi Telecomm early this year. SK Telecom is rather focusing on expanding its presence in the telecom market," the petition said.
The move comes at a time when the ministry is reviewing SK Telecom on whether it is fulfilling the conditions imposed upon it.
