PHILIPPINES SMART COMMS TIES UP WITH SUN MICROSYSTEMS.

MANILA, Sept 4 Asia Pulse - Smart Communications, Inc. through its subsidiary Smart Money Holdings Corp. (SMHC) has enlisted the help of technology firm Sun Microsystems, Inc. to develop and market its mobile commerce applications abroad.
Under the partnership, Sun will help market SMHC's mobile commerce platform to foreign mobile operators and at the same time provide engineering support.
Sun provides hardware, software and information technology services in more than 170 countries.
SMHC handles the licensing of its fully integrated mobile commerce platform to international mobile operators. The platform is designed to enable and secure mobile transactions, including financial services and content delivery.
