HYUNDAI PLANS N KOREA VISIT TO REVITALIZE INTER-KOREAN PROJECTS.

SEOUL, Sept 3 Asia Pulse - Chung Mong-hun, head of Hyundai Asan Co.'s board of directors, plans to travel to North Korea before September 10 for talks with North Korean officials to revitalize his company's inter-Korean projects, the company's president said today.

Hyundai Asan President Kim Yoon-kyu said in his meeting with reporters that he and Chung will travel to the Mount Geumgang resort in the North to discuss the projects, including the depressed tourist project featuring the North's scenic mountain, with senior officials from the North's Asia-Pacific Peace Committee.

If realized, it will be the first trip to the North by Chung since November last year.

The trip comes earlier than the planned three-day meeting of South and North Korean...
