INDIAN NGO URGES WB, IMF DONORS TO HELP END CHILD LABOUR.

WASHINGTON, Oct 3 Asia Pulse - Global March against Child Labour, an NGO from India, has called on the World Bank, IMF and donor countries to help end child labour and provide universal education to all children.

"At least 246 million children worldwide are languishing in various forms of child labour today. The birthright to education is denied to 113 million children. Only 4 days of global military expenditure can ensure education for all," Kailash Satyarthi, Chairman of Global March against Terrorism, who has championed the cause for years, said here.
