AUSTRALIA'S BRAZIN LOOKS TO UK TO BUILD ON 33% SEP QTR GP SALES.

SYDNEY, Nov 4 Asia Pulse - Entertainment and lingerie retailer Brazin Ltd (ASX:BRZ) said today its future profits growth would be determined and propelled by the success of its United Kingdom stores.
Chairman Barrie Martin told the annual general meeting group sales for the quarter to September 2002, including its UK business, were up 33 per cent over the previous period.
He said this was being delivered through the exiting of non-core businesses, expansion of Sanity Entertainment, particularly in the UK, and revamping of the Bras `N' Things stores.
Managing director Brett Blundy said after the meeting the greatest growth for the group was tied to Sanity Entertainment UK which, in October 2001, acquired 77 Our Price stores from Virgin...
