INDONESIA'S PT INDOSAT POSTS NINE MONTH NET PROFIT OF US$47.3 MLN
JAKARTA - Indonesian telco PT Indosat Tbk (JSX:ISAT) posted a net profit of Rp435.5 billion (around US$47.3 million) for the first nine months of 2002.
Compared to the first semester of 2002, the figure fell due to loss from conversion rates, a rise in interest expense and amortization of 25 per cent of Satelindo's shares held by Deutsche Telekom Asia, Indosat director Widya Purnama said.
