TELSTRA MOBILE IN BEST FINANCIAL HEALTH IN YEARS: OUTGOING MD.

SYDNEY, Dec 2 Asia Pulse - Telstra Mobile group managing director David Thodey said today he was leaving the division in the strongest financial health it has been for many years.
Mr Thodey said the financial performance of Telstra's (ASX:TLS) mobile operations was judged on the division's revenues, margin, cash return on capital expenditure deployed and profit and cash.
"The mobile division is in the best financial position its been in for many, many years," he said.
"... we're stronger than we've ever been before," he added.
On Friday, chief executive Ziggy Switkowski shuffled the roles of senior Telstra managers and from January 1 Mr Thodey will move to head Telstra Enterprises and target the corporate sector.
