PRAISE HEAPED ON GRADUATES FROM INDIA'S IT INSTITUTE.

KOLKATA, Jan 21 Asia Pulse - The significant contributions made by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) graduates, India's "hottest" export to the world, not only helped improve the Indian economy but also benefitted the US and many other countries enormously.

This was recognised by all the speakers at the 50th anniversary celebrations of IIT here, including Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates.

Describing IIT as a "world-class institute," Gates said the computer industry has benefitted greatly from the tradition of the IITs.

The two-day event, which ended Sunday, witnessed speakers expressing similar sentiments.
