KOREA'S PUBLIC FUND OVERSIGHT PANEL TO DECIDE ON CHB SALE THURSDAY.

SEOUL, Jan 22 Asia Pulse - The Public Fund Oversight Committee is expected to choose the new owner of Chohung Bank (CHB) (KSE:00010) during its second general meeting Thursday, sources at the Ministry of Finance and Economy (MOFE) said yesterday.
The sources said that though there were some differences on the price and timing of the sale during the first meeting held last week, adequate discussions have since taken place to make a choice on the primary negotiating partner for the domestic lender.
The second general meeting of the committee is scheduled for Thursday at the Korea Deposit Insurance Corp. (KDIC) in downtown Seoul.
