PAKISTAN PETROLEUM REVIEWS INFRASTRUCTURE PLAN.

ISLAMABAD, Feb 24 Asia Pulse - The Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) has attained encouraging results from three oil and gas discoveries, Hasan, Sadiq and Khanpur and a development plan to put in place an infrastructure for these fields was under consideration, according to the company's 2002 annual report.

The report claimed that dismantling of cost-plus gas well-head price agreement 1982, and introduction of market-based gas price agreement would increase profitability, besides improving PPL's cash flow in the coming years.

The management is confident that the new well-head price system would put the company on a sound commercial footing, it said.
