TELSTRA'S DIRECTORIES UNIT IN TALKS WITH SINGAPORE YELLOW PAGES.

SYDNEY, March 14 Asia Pulse - Telstra Corp Ltd's (ASX:TLS) directories unit Sensis is still looking at Singapore's Yellow Pages business while also examining other international opportunities.
Late last month Telstra finance director John Stanhope said Telstra was in talks to buy the directories business from Singapore Telecommunications Ltd (SingTel) with a potential decision in March.
However, some analysts today suggested Telstra could be negotiating for management contracts to run Singapore Yellow Pages and other Asian directory-based companies.
Sensis spokeswoman Kerry I'Anson said Telstra could not comment in detail on any potential deal but said the group remained in talks on the SingTel unit.
