TELSTRA POSTS HIGHER SALES REVENUE IN Q3.

SYDNEY, April 16 Asia Pulse - Telstra Corp Ltd (ASX:TLS) has posted a 2.6 per cent increase in underlying sales revenue for the third quarter.

It reported underlying sales revenue of $A4.824 billion ($US2.92 billion) for the quarter ended March 31, 2003.

Third quarter domestic sales revenue lifted 3.8 per cent to $A4.554 billion ($US2.76 billion).

Telstra said there was no change to its previous full year guidance.

"There is no change to the previous full year guidance foreshadowing similar underlying EBIT (earnings before interest and tax) and revenue figures to the previous fiscal year," Telstra said.

"The company continues to generate strong free cash flow from working capital and expenditure management."
