AUSTRALIA'S APN NEWS & MEDIA LTD EXPECTING RECORD FY REVENUE.

BRISBANE, April 23 Asia Pulse - APN News & Media Ltd (ASX:APN) expects record annual revenue and profits in 2003 after all its core divisions kicked off the first quarter strongly.
Results from each of APN's five divisions were significantly better in the first three months of 2003, compared to the previous corresponding period, putting the company in the best ever shape in its 10 year history.
APN shareholders heard that at the end of the first quarter, the media group was performing ahead of the same period last year.
"Given a continuation of current trading, the board is confident of an improved result in 2003," APN chief executive Brendan Hopkins said.
