PAKISTAN OILFIELDS' VENTURE FINDS MORE OIL & GAS AT PINDORI.

KARACHI, Aug 20 Asia Pulse - Pakistan Oilfields Ltd (POL), the operator of Pindori Mining Lease, has announced the presence of additional oil and gas reserves in a new horizon of Pindori field, located about 50 km south of Islamabad.
This is the first time that Dhak-Pass (Paleocene) sand has been found to be oil and gas bearing in the Pindori field and these newly discovered Dhak-Pass hydrocarbons would be additional reserves for Pindori field.
Pindori-5A well was drilled to a total depth of 13,879 feet into the Permian. After casing and completing the well, a total of 274 feet potential reservoir of the Chorgali, Sakesar, Lockhart Limestone and Dhak-Pass (sand) were planned for perforations.
